TERMS OF SERVICE

This document outlines the framework for services at Eat Yourself to Health Clinic with Kirsten Brooks, Registered Nutritionist, including what you can expect from your Registered Nutritionist and what responsibilities you have as a client.

In this contract:

- ‘I’, ‘me’ or ‘my’ means Kirsten Brooks, Registered Nutritionist at Eat Yourself to Health Clinic.

- ‘Client’, ‘you’ or ‘your’ means the person buying or using my services and resources.

Please read the following important terms of service before you commit to using services at Eat Yourself to Health Clinic. By booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing to our terms of service. Scope of Practice

Registered Nutritionists provide evidence-based nutritional information and guidance to individuals or groups. They work within various sectors, including academia, industry, healthcare, or in a freelance capacity.

Registered Nutritionists consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programs rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Nutritional therapy is never recommended as a replacement for medical advice, and clients with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms are always referred to their medical professional.


Client Responsibilities

We request that our clients note the following:

- The degree of benefit obtainable from Registered Nutritionists may vary between clients with similar health problems and following a similar nutritional program.

- Nutritional advice will be tailored to support health conditions and/or health concerns identified and agreed upon by both parties.

- Registered Nutritionists are not permitted to diagnose or claim to cure medical conditions.

 

Legal Disclaimers about Results

The success of your program depends primarily on your effort, motivation, compliance, commitment, and follow-through. We do not guarantee specific outcomes as results differ for everyone.

 

Consultations

Initial consultations will last up to 90 minutes. Monthly follow-up sessions will last up to 60 minutes, and check-in sessions will last up to 20 minutes. Consultations will be conducted online via Google Meet or in Clinic in Forest Hill, London.

Booking

- To schedule an appointment with Kirsten Brooks, clients can book in advance the following:

- Using the online booking system for free chat.

- All other appointments are to be booked by email or phone.

- All appointments are subject to availability and initial consultations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.

​

Cancellations & No Shows

- You may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time without incurring any charges.

- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a 50% cancellation charge.

​

Late Arrival

- If a client arrives late for a scheduled appointment, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

- Late arrival may result in a shortened session to accommodate subsequent appointments.

​

Payments

- To work with Kirsten Brooks, you need to have made the full payment or first payment installment PRIOR to booking your initial consultation. Payments can be made via bank transfer.

- Failure to adhere to payment plans may result in legal action.

​

Refunds

Refunds will not be provided for missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

 

Exceptions

Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made in extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of Kirsten Brooks.

Privacy & Confidentiality

The confidentiality of our clients is treated seriously.

- Client Privacy: We respect your privacy and handle all personal information with care. Your health data will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing nutrition services.

- Data Security: Our website and data storage systems are secure. We follow industry standards to protect your information.

- Third Parties: We do not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

Working with Multiple Practitioners

Information about your symptoms and condition may be discussed between practitioners to provide you with a coordinated plan. Explicit consent will be obtained before sharing any information.
